Basic Life Support, or BLS, generally refers to the type of care that first-responders, healthcare providers and public safety professionals provide to anyone who is experiencing cardiac arrest, respiratory distress or an obstructed airway.
The Heartsaver CPR AED course trains participants to give CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

Tami Thomas-Pinkney is a licensed nurse with the state of Texas and the owner and operator of Manna Medical, Inc. She has over 25 combined years in the healthcare industry.
As a clinical educator with American Heart Association she’s honored and thankful that her job is teaching you how to save a life. She is passionate about putting the “care” back into healthcare.
